Steven Mignogna Presented Trust and Estate Law Seminars
Archer Partner, Steven K. Mignogna, recently served as a featured speaker at two Real Property, Trust and Estate Law seminars. Mr. Mignogna presented, “It’s a World of Tears and a World of Fears: Crisis Management of Estates,” at the American Bar Association Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law’s Spring Symposia, on May 10 in Orlando, Florida. The program analyzed the crises that often arise after the passing of a decedent, but can begin in the estate planning process and span into the estate administration and potentially even lead to litigation. The Symposia is in its 30th year and is attended by the nation’s leading estate and trust practitioners and professionals.
Mr. Mignogna also presented the “Fiduciary Litigation Update” at the 2018 NJSBA Annual Meeting and Convention on May 17 at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. The seminar provided an update as to recent developments in New Jersey concerning fiduciary litigation. The NJSBA Annual Meeting and Convention is the year’s largest CLE and networking event for New Jersey attorneys.
Mr. Mignogna focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with a concentration on probate matters, estates, fiduciaries, guardianships and real estate. He is Co-Chair of the firm’s Estates and Trusts Department and Chair of the Estate and Trust Litigation Group.
Mr. Mignogna has lectured and published extensively, both locally and nationally. He is principal author of the treatise, Estate and Trust Litigation, and editor and contributing author of The New Jersey Estate Planning Manual and The New Jersey Probate Procedures Book, all published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
