Steven Mignogna Appointed Member of American Bar Association Committees
Archer Partner Steven K. Mignogna was recently appointed a Member of the following administrative committees within the American Bar Association’s Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, effective September 1:
- Continuing Legal Education – The Continuing Legal Education Committee plans programs for the Section’s national meetings.
- Groups and Substantive Committees – The Committee on Groups and Substantive Committees facilitates the operation of the Section’s Groups and Committees.
- National Conference of Lawyers and Corporate Fiduciaries – The National Conference of Lawyers and Corporate Fiduciaries Member focuses on the bar’s interaction with corporate fiduciaries.
Mr. Mignogna previously served as Chair of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee in the Litigation, Ethics and Malpractice Group of the American Bar Association Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section. He also previously served as Chair and Vice Chair of that Group, and as Vice Chair and then Chair of the Probate and Fiduciary Litigation Committee in that Group.
Mr. Mignogna focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with a concentration on probate matters, estates, fiduciaries, guardianships and real estate. He is Co-Chair of the firm’s Estates and Trusts Department and Chair of the Estate and Trust Litigation Group.
Mr. Mignogna has lectured and published extensively, both locally and nationally. He is principal author of the treatise, Estate and Trust Litigation, and editor and contributing author of The New Jersey Estate Planning Manual and The New Jersey Probate Procedures Book, all published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
