Steven Mignogna Reappointed Chair of American Bar Association Committee
Steven K. Mignogna, a Partner in Archer’s Haddonfield office, has been reappointed to a second term as Chair of the Alternate Dispute Resolution Committee in the Litigation, Ethics and Malpractice Group of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section. His new term will start on September 1.
As Chair, Mr. Mignogna leads the Committee’s activities in coordinating seminars and publications and tracking trends in the relevant law around the United States. He previously served as Chair and Vice Chair of the Litigation, Ethics and Malpractice Group, and as Vice Chair and then Chair of the Probate and Fiduciary Litigation Committee in that Group.
The Section Real Property, Trust and Estate Law is a leading national forum for lawyers, and currently has around 22,000 members. The Real Property Division focuses on legal aspects of property use, ownership, development, transfer, regulation, financing, taxation and disposal. The Trust and Estate Division focuses on all aspects of trusts, estate planning, employee benefits, insurance, and probate and trust litigation.
Mr. Mignogna is Co-Chair of Archer’s Estates and Trusts Department and Chair of the firm’s Estate and Trust Litigation Group. Mr. Mignogna focuses his practice on commercial litigation, with a concentration on probate matters, estates, fiduciaries, guardianships and real estate. He has lectured and published extensively both locally and nationally. Mr. Mignogna is principal author of the treatise, Estate and Trust Litigation, and editor and contributing author of The New Jersey Estate Planning Manual and The New Jersey Probate Procedures Book, all published by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.
